Abstract:
An image processing device according to the present invention is provided with: a region-of-interest setting unit that sets, in an image, a region of interest which is to be subjected to classification evaluation; a surface layer structure information calculating unit for calculating surface layer structure information indicating the surface layer structure of the region of interest; an outside-of-region-of-interest focus level calculating unit for calculating the focus level of the image at least outside of the region of interest; and an image classification unit for classifying the image on the basis of the surface layer structure information and the focus level outside of the region of interest.
