Abstract:
The present invention enables the acquisition of moving picture data of a sort such that the rotational angle of a subject is approximately uniform in each frame on the basis of captured image data in the case of imaging a subject that is rotating at a non-uniform rotational velocity. A captured-image acquisition unit (50) acquires a plurality of captured images obtained by means of repeated imaging of the rotating subject. In the case that a characteristic corresponding to the same point on the imaging subject has been detected in one captured image and another captured image, a position-information acquisition unit (54) acquires position information pertaining to the position of the characteristic in the one captured image and the other captured image. On the basis of the position information, a rotational-angle-information acquisition unit (56) acquires rotational angle information pertaining to the rotational angle of the imaging subject between the moment in time of imaging of the one captured image and the other captured image. A moving-picture-data generation unit (58) generates moving picture data by means of selecting the frame images for the moving picture data from among the plurality of captured images on the basis of the rotational angle information acquired with respect to each of the plurality of captured images.
