Abstract:
This image-processing system contains the following: an imaging device that images a measurement subject, yielding a taken image; an alignment detection unit that detects the alignment state of the measurement subject and determines the tilt angle of the measurement subject relative to the imaging device; a storage unit that stores a template image; an orientation correction unit that generates an orientation-corrected image by correcting the taken image on the basis of the tilt angle determined by the alignment detection unit; a scale correction unit that computes the scale-difference amount between the orientation-corrected image and the template image and generates a scale-corrected image by correcting the orientation-corrected image on the basis of the computed scale-difference amount; and a position search unit that uses the template image to perform template matching on the scale-corrected image to determine the position on the taken image that corresponds to the template image.
