Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program that can provide useful support in cases where it is desired to select some images from a plurality of captured images. [Solution] This image processing device comprises: a person recognition unit that recognizes people included in each of a plurality of captured images; an image evaluation unit that evaluates one or more captured image groups, which are extracted from the plurality of captured images, on the basis of the degree of appearance of each person of interest recognized by the person recognition unit; and an image selection unit that selects the captured image group for which the result of the evaluation by the image evaluation unit is the highest.
