Abstract:

The present technology pertains to an image processing device, method, and program that enable increased user-friendliness and a more effective image display. An in-image capture unit captures as an in-image a subject in the direction of the front side of the image processing device, and an out-image capture unit captures as an out-image a subject in the direction of the back side of the image processing deice. A signal processing unit adds to the image data of the out-image the additional information of a binary image obtained by binarizing the in-image, for example. Also, the signal processing unit combines the binary image as additional information to the out-image when reproducing the out-image, and displays the image obtained as a result. Therefore, it is possible to display an image more effectively by adding information obtained from the in-image to the out-image as additional information, and it is possible to increase user-friendliness. The present technology can be applied to an image processing device.
