Abstract:
[Problem] To generate display data for displaying a highly visible thumbnail display of a panorama image. [Solution] The present invention selects one of the following to use for a thumbnail display: first thumbnail image data generated by a resolution conversion of panorama image data generated by synthesizing a plurality of captured images; and second thumbnail image data generated by an aspect-ratio adjustment processing of the panorama image data. According to the selection, the present invention generates display data for executing a thumbnail display by using the first thumbnail image data or the second thumbnail image data.
