Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to perform image processing in accordance with differences in the color component and the luminance component of an image, while processing a relatively small amount of data. A frequency resolution unit (110) performs a direct frequency resolution on a Bayer image signal from an imaging element (3). Thus, a high-frequency component indicating color information and a low-frequency component indicating luminance information are obtained. A filter coefficient acquisition unit (131) of a correction processing unit (130) acquires different filter coefficients for the high-frequency component and the low-frequency component. On the basis of the filter coefficients obtained by the filter coefficient acquisition unit (131) a filter processing unit performs different filtering processes on a component image for the high-frequency component and the low-frequency component.
