Abstract:
This disclosure relates to an image processing device, an image processing method, a program, and an endoscope system which make it possible to dispose an endoscope in a state where the endoscope has a degree of freedom without being fixed with respect to a retractor, and correct image deterioration such as blurring that may occur in that case.
An image processing device according to one aspect of this disclosure corrects a moving image having a predetermined frame rate in each frame, and is provided with: a marker detection unit which detects a marker that is provided in a surgical instrument and shows up in the frame to be processed; a calculation unit which calculates a blurring correction amount on the basis of the position of the detected marker; and a blurring correction unit which corrects blurring of the frame to be processed in accordance with the blurring correction amount. This disclosure is applicable to an endoscope system.
