Abstract:
This disclosure relates to an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program which make it possible to increase the usefulness of a process for reducing discontinuities when displaying image frames obtained by capturing images at different image-capture speeds.
From among image frames including normal image-capture frames captured at a normal image-capture speed and high-speed image-capture frames captured at a higher speed than the normal image-capture speed, a determination is performed to set the image frames captured at at least one image-capture speed as image frames to undergo a change in display speed. With respect to the image frames that it has been determined are to undergo a change in display speed, the display speed is adjusted in a predetermined range, from the timing at which the image-capture speed was switched. This technology is applicable, for example, to an image processing device for performing image processing on image frames.
