Abstract:
According to the present invention, a reference frame determining unit (60) selects a prescribed number of reference frames, from motion images, to be used for a super-resolution process. A super-resolution processing unit (30) performs a super-resolution process on the prescribed number of reference frames to generate high-resolution images that have a higher resolution than that of the reference frames. The reference frame determining unit (60) determines the frame intervals for the reference frames to be selected on the basis of a value indicating the misalignment level of pixels in the frames of the motion images.
