Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program that are capable of correcting variation in the spectral sensitivities of a plurality of pixels that constitute an imaging element. An image processing device 40 comprises: a second external interface unit 41 that acquires image data and a correction coefficient from an imaging device 10; a correction amount calculation unit 441 that calculates an estimated value for a color component of a focus pixel, said color component being the target for correction, using the correction coefficient acquired by the second external interface unit 41 and the pixel value of a proximal same-color pixel that is at the periphery of the focus pixel and is the same color as that of the color filter of the focus pixel, then calculates the amount of correction to the pixel value of the focus pixel on the basis of this estimated value and the correction coefficient of the focus pixel; and a pixel value correction unit 442 that corrects the pixel value of the focus pixel on the basis of the amount of correction calculated by the correction amount calculation unit 441.
