Abstract:
[Problem] To expand the dynamic range of an image and improve the signal-to-noise ratio in order to make image quality favorable. [Solution] An image processing device according to the present disclosure is provided with the following: a light intensity determination unit that determines the light intensity of an image pickup image on the basis of the pixel value of each pixel of the image pickup image; and an exposure ratio determination unit that determines the ratio of the exposure amount of long-exposure pixels to the exposure amount of short-exposure pixels, on the basis of the proportion of pixels, from among pixels contained in a region of the image pickup image, for which the pixel value is saturated.
