Abstract:
This technology pertains to an image processing device, an image processing method, a program, and a surgery system that allow a medical image that has shadows to be suitably provided. An image processing device determines whether to add or suppress shadows in a medical image, and on the basis of the determination results, performs control so as to generate a shadow corrected image. For example, this technology can be applied to a surgery system or the like to perform surgery while viewing a medical image captured with an endoscope.
