Abstract:
In this invention, when image processing based on an attribute map is to be applied to an input image, the image processing based on the attribute map can be appropriately applied to the input image even when the pixel correspondence between the input image and the attribute map can no longer be obtained due to processing executed in a stage preceding the image processing. This image processing device comprises: filter means for executing filter-processing on each block region obtained by dividing the input image into predetermined sizes; supply means whereby, according to the position and the size of the entirety of the image from each of the filter-processed block regions, pixel values corresponding to each of the block regions are read and supplied from the attribute map used to determine the pixel value of each pixel of a composite image; and image compositing means for compositing, on the basis of the pixel value supplied from the supply means, a filter-processed block region obtained from one input image, and a filter-processed block region obtained from another input image, the respective block regions having corresponding positions within the entirety of the images.
