Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to further improve user convenience. [Solution] Provided is an image processing device including: a matching unit that performs matching processing between a predetermined pattern on the surface of a 3D model of biological tissue including a surgical region, generated on the basis of a pre-surgery diagnosis image, and a predetermined pattern on the surface of the biological tissue, included in an image captured during surgery; a shift-amount estimating unit that estimates the amount of deformation of the biological tissue from a pre-surgery state thereof on the basis of the result of the matching processing and information about the three-dimensional position of a photographed region, which is a region of the surface of the biological tissue photographed during the surgery; and a 3D-model updating unit that updates the 3D model generated before the surgery on the basis of the estimated amount of deformation of the biological tissue.
