Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device and method, a program, and an inkjet printing system that allow image formation in which image quality degradation due to bleeding can be suppressed when printing on a fabric. An image processing device 12 imports base material information 42 that includes information indicating at least the fiber quality of a fabric that is a printing medium, imports image data 40 to be printed on the fabric, and on the basis of the base material information 42 and the image data 40, generates a bleeding suppression processed image 44 representing an ink application pattern, in which at least one of an ink application location and an ink application amount is restricted in anticipation of wet spreading of the ink on the fabric.
