Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, an image processing method and a program, with which it is possible to accurately process defective pixels, even if there are low saturation pixels in the vicinity of the pixel to be interpolated. This image processing device 30 comprises: a third external interface unit which acquires position information for defective pixels and image data generated by an imaging element 105; a defective pixel correction unit 51 which corrects noise caused by defective pixels contained in image data on the basis of position information; and a low saturation pixel correction unit 53 which corrects low saturation pixels having a lower saturation level than other pixels, on the basis of a pre-calculated saturation level, on pixel data for which noise has been corrected for by the defective pixel correction unit 51.
