Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to facilitate reducing time and effort involved in an instructor's explanations of makeup methods, and to facilitate a student's greater comprehension of the makeup methods. Provided is an image processing device (100), comprising: an image input unit (101) which receives an input from a prescribed device of a facial image; an image analysis unit (102) which, on the basis of facial feature points which are extracted from the facial image, computes any of a face shape, proportion lines which are lines drawn upon a face in order to analyze the balance of the face, or blocking lines which segment a face along the skeletal structure of the face into a plurality of regions by contrast of shadows caused by light which strikes the face; and an image generating unit (103) which, on the basis of any of the face shape, the proportion lines, or the blocking lines, determines a superposition region of a makeup part image in the facial image, and generates a simulation image in which the makeup part image has been superpositioned upon the superposition region.
