Abstract:
This image processing device is provided with an acquisition unit, a generation unit, a calculation unit and an estimation unit. The acquisition unit acquires an input image. The generation unit generates multiple comparison images by compressing a target region, which is at least a part of the input image, with various degrees of compression, and expanding said compressed target region back to the original dimensions. For each of the multiple comparison images, the calculation unit calculates a degree of degradation of the comparison image with respect to the input image. The estimation unit estimates the amount of blur of the input image on the basis of the multiple calculated degrees of degradation.
