Abstract:
An image processing device, method, and program that make it possible to acquire a composite image in which the effect of a meniscus that has formed at the surface of a liquid inside a container has been suppressed. While superimposing portions of adjacent observed regions and changing the positions of the observed regions, the present invention acquires a plurality of captured images that have been acquired by capturing an image of a container multiple times. For the superimposed region between each captured image Gi and at least one adjacent captured image, a superimposed region selection unit 51 selects the captured image that has the highest contrast as a superimposed region image. A composite image generation unit 52 generates a composite image Gs by joining the plurality of captured images for which superimposed region images were selected.
