Abstract:
This image processing device is for generating data to be outputted to a formation means for forming a shaped article on a recording medium, and is characterized by having: an acquisition means for acquiring first shape data representing the shape of projections and recesses; a first generation means for generating edge data representing the shape of edges of the projections and recesses on the basis of the first shape data; and a second generation means for generating, on the basis of the edge data, either first recording amount data which represents a recording amount of a first recording material and which is used to form, on the recording medium, at least a portion of the edges in the edge data, or first dot arrangement data which represents a dot arrangement of the first recording material on the recording medium.
