Abstract:
Provided is an image processing device for communicating the range of an input image to be displayed by an apparatus or a system containing a display which displays an image, the image processing device being characterized by having a first acquisition means which acquires information showing the shape of display of the system or device including a display; a second acquisition means which acquires input image data showing the input image; a specifying means which, on the basis of the input image data and the information, specifies the range of the input image to be displayed by the display; and an output means for outputting information showing the specified range, the shape of the specified range being a shape according to the display, which is a curved screen and/or a plurality of flat screens.
