Abstract:
This image processing device is provided with: a pole determination means which determines a pole of an avascular region in a fundus blood vessel image of a subject's eye; a coordinate conversion means which, on the basis of the determined pole, performs a coordinate conversion process to convert the fundus blood vessel image into a coordinate image different from an orthogonal coordinate image; and a boundary determination means which determines a boundary of the avascular region in the different coordinate image.
