Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, image processing method, and program that make natural multi-area white-balance correction possible. In the present invention, an image processing unit (image processing device) 31 comprises: an image input unit 101 for receiving a photographed image; an area setting unit 103 for setting a primary area in the photographed image and a secondary area other than the primary area; a white-balance gain acquisition unit 105 for acquiring a main white-balance gain and secondary white-balance gain for white-balance correction of the primary area and secondary area, respectively; a determination unit 107 for determining an adjusted secondary white-balance gain by adjusting the secondary white-balance gain on the basis of the main white-balance gain and secondary white-balance gain; and a white-balance correction unit 109 for using the primary white-balance gain and adjusted secondary white-balance gain to correct the white balances of the primary area and secondary area.
