Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program for generating three-dimensional image data in which unnaturalness has been suppressed effectively. The image processing device (11) is provided with: an image acquisition unit (13) which acquires a two-dimensional image; a probability calculation unit (15) which estimates a foreground region of the two-dimensional image by image processing, and calculates the probability of being a foreground region for each small region of the two-dimensional image; a mask generation unit (17) which, on the basis of the probability, generates a foreground image mask having a gradation of a mixture ratio of a foreground and a background in a foreground-background boundary region; and a foreground image acquisition unit (19) which acquires a foreground image using the image mask.
