Abstract:
The present invention relates to an image processing device which processes three-dimensional image data generated on the basis of photoacoustic waves generated from inside a subject by irradiating the subject with light. Provided is an image processing device characterized by comprising: a first three-dimensional image acquisition means which acquires first three-dimensional image data obtained by extracting a first area corresponding to a first substance in the subject from the three-dimensional image data; a second three-dimensional image acquisition means which acquires second three-dimensional image data obtained by extracting a second area corresponding to a second substance in the subject from the three-dimensional image data; a first two-dimensional image acquisition means which acquires first two-dimensional image data associated with three-dimensional position information about the first area, from the first three-dimensional image data; and a second two-dimensional image acquisition means which acquires second two-dimensional image data associated with three-dimensional position information about the second area, from the second three-dimensional image data.
