Abstract:
A compression process suitable for image recognition processing by AI is achieved. This image processing device comprises: a calculation unit which when the image quality of image data is changed, calculates the recognition accuracy of objects included in each piece of changed image data; and a change unit which in the image data, changes an area including the object to an image quality at which the recognition accuracy becomes a predetermined allowable limit, and changes an area other than the area including the object to an image quality at which the recognition accuracy is less than the predetermined allowable limit, wherein the change unit inputs the changed image data to an encoder.
