Abstract:
This image processing device is provided with: a pixel-of-interest selection unit that selects, as a pixel of interest, one pixel in a first image outputted from an image pickup element; a first code tap selection unit that selects, for the selected pixel of interest, a code tap in which a plurality of pixels of the first color component are arrayed in a first array pattern; a first code calculation unit that calculates a code for indicating the feature amount of the selected code tap; a first coefficient storage unit that outputs a plurality of first tap coefficients on the basis of the calculated code; a first filter tap selection unit that selects, for the selected pixel of interest which is a pixel of the first color component in the first image, a filter tap in which a plurality of pixels of the first color component are arrayed in a second array pattern; and a first image generation unit that generates an image of the first color component on the basis of the values of the pixels of the selected filter tap and the plurality of first tap coefficients outputted from the first coefficient storage unit.
