Abstract:
An image processing device 1 is provided with: a detecting means 11 for detecting an iris region IA including an iris, from a person image IMG1 in which a target person's eyes appear; an image processing means 12 for performing image processing on at least a part of the iris region of the person image to thereby convert the person image to a protected image IMG2 for which iris information pertaining to the pattern of the iris cannot be acquired from the iris region; and an assigning means 13 for assigning, to the protected image, metadata indicating that the image processing has been performed on at least part of the iris region.
