Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device and an image processing method that enable a surface region, which is a photographic subject of an input image, to be easily and accurately transformed into a desired shape. An image processing device according to one mode of the present invention is provided with a curve calculation unit and a homography estimation unit. On the basis of an input image that includes a first surface region as the photographic subject, the curve calculation unit calculates curves approximating an outline of the first surface region. On the basis of the approximating curves, the homography estimation unit converts the first surface region to a second surface region.
