Abstract:
The present technology pertains to an image processing device and method for enabling more accurate specification a region in an image to undergo image processing. The image processing device according to the present technology is provided with a determination unit that determines, on the basis of reliability information indicating the reliability of depth information indicating the depth of an image, whether or not to determine, on the basis of the depth information, whether a region is to undergo predetermined image processing or not. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an image capturing device for imaging a subject, a server for processing a captured image, or the like.
