Abstract:
An image processing device is provided with a line image detection unit (102), and an image cutting-out unit (103). The line image detection unit (102) detects a predetermined type of line image included in an image to be processed. The image cutting-out unit (103) cuts out a first surrounded region surrounded by the line image. If a line image not forming the first surrounded region is present, the image cutting-out unit (103) generates a second cut-out image by cutting out a second surrounded region surrounded by the line image and a virtual line connecting one end and the other end of the line image. The image cutting-out unit (103) generates a composite image obtained by compositing two second cut-out images by superimposing the respective virtual lines of the two second cut-out images.
