Abstract:
The present invention obtains an image processing device that automatically and comprehensively adjusts parameters of an optical system and can be used in a versatile manner without selecting imaging targets and inspection algorithms. This image processing device (1) comprises: an optical system (40) that performs imaging of a target; an evaluation unit (61) that calculates an objective function from a feature amount calculated by an image processing unit (50); an approximation function generation unit (62) that calculates an approximation function from the objective function calculated by the evaluation unit (61); and a searching unit (63) that, using a set of optical parameters with the smallest objective function value as a reference parameter set, calculates the gradient in the reference parameter set of the approximation function output by the approximation function generation unit (62), and adds, to an optical parameter storage unit (20) as a new optical parameter, a new additional optical parameter in the vicinity of the direction in which the gradient is maximal.
