Abstract:
An image processing device provided with a pixel value histogram generation unit (4) for generating a pixel value histogram of a plurality of pixels included in an image, a background pixel value setting unit (5) for setting a background pixel value (A) using the peak value of the histogram generated by the pixel value histogram generation unit (4), a noise range setting unit (6) for setting a noise range (B) of the background pixel values (A) set by the background pixel value setting unit (5), and a pixel value replacement unit (7) for replacing pixel values present in the noise range (Ａ±Ｂ) set by the noise range setting unit (6) with a discretionary single pixel value.
