Abstract:
An image processing device 10 is provided with a detection unit 22 comprising: a body-to-be-detected 11 constituted, on a two-dimensional plane, by an "a x a" or "a x b" (where a, b = 3, 4, 5, 6, …) matrix arrangement of first cells 12a, which can reflect projected light, and second cells 12b, which cannot reflect projected light, the cells 12 being square-shaped or rectangular-shaped; a projection unit 23 that projects light; imaging units 24, 25 that use a camera to capture light reflected from the first cells 12a after light projected by the projection unit 23 has been projected onto the first cells 12a and the second cells 12b constituting the body-to-be-detected 11; and a calculation unit 26 that acquires information set in the body-to-be-detected 11 on the basis of captured data captured by the imaging units 24, 25. This configuration makes it possible to realize a system that is inexpensive and can accurately identify compact markers and measure distances.
