Abstract:
This image processing device (103) which eliminates, from a captured image, noise caused by a disturbance during image-capturing through image processing is provided with an image input unit (111) to which a plurality of images captured continuously over the course of time is inputted, an image characteristic extracting unit (113) that extracts characteristics related to the disturbance in the captured image, and an image sharpening unit (116) that executes image processing in accordance with the characteristics related to the disturbance to eliminate noise in the captured image. In addition, the image processing device (103) may further be provided with a mode changing means for changing the mode between monitoring mode to execute the image processing in accordance with the characteristics related to the disturbance, and normal in which the image processing is not executed in accordance with the characteristics related to the disturbance.
