Abstract:
An image processing device and program having a structure enabling high-accuracy interpolation making a less side-effect even if there is a variation in sensitivity of the sensor. The output of a single-chip Bayer pattern CCD (102) is subjected to AD conversion and noise reduction, and then inputted into a G interpolation circuit (106). The G interpolation circuit (106) includes two interposition circuits of different types. An interpolation circuit B (114) conducts interpolation not reflecting the apparent sensitivity differences caused in the pixel values of the G pixels of the single-chip Bayer pattern CCD (102) on the result but having an inferior resolution; contrarily an interpolation circuit A (113) conducts interpolation reflecting the apparent sensitivity differences as they are on the result but having an excellent resolution. The G interpolation circuit (106) estimates the amount of sensitivity difference of the pixel of interest, combines the outputs of the two interpolation circuits so that the result of the interpolation circuit B (114) may be used more often if the sensitivity difference is large and the result of the interpolation circuit A (113) may be used more often if it is small, and outputs the final result.
