Abstract:
Disclosed is an image processing device provided with an edge image generation device which generates an edge image by extracting an edge from an image; a matching device which performs template matching using a template indicating the shape of a fixed pattern having a predetermined shape with respect to the edge image generated by the edge image generation device; an evaluation value calculation device which calculates an evaluation value for specifying the position of the fixed pattern having the predetermined shape in the image, on the basis of the matching result by the matching device means; and a specification device which specifies the position of the fixed pattern having the predetermined shape in the image, on the basis of the evaluation value calculated by the evaluation value calculation device.
