Abstract:
According to the present invention, a background image generation unit (21) calculates a feature amount of each of a plurality of first thermal images (Din1) acquired by capturing, with a thermal image sensor (1), images in the same visual field or each of a plurality of sort images (Dc) generated from the first thermal images, generates an average image from the first thermal images or the sort images, sharpens the average image, and stores, in a storage device (3), a skeleton image obtained by extracting a skeleton component. An image correction unit (22) corrects, using the skeleton image stored in the storage device (3), second thermal images (Din2) acquired by capturing, with the thermal image sensor, images in the same visual field as the first thermal images, thereby generating corrected thermal images. A thermal image which is clear and has a high SN ratio can be generated.
