Abstract:
This image processing device comprises: a setting means for predicting the parallax between a first image and a second image using a different method to stereo matching, and setting a search range of corresponding points in stereo matching on the basis of the predicted parallax; a parallax map generation means for searching the corresponding points of each pixel between the first image the second image, limited to the set search range, and generating a parallax map; and a parallax map synthesis means for synthesizing a plurality of parallax maps generated from each of a plurality of image pairs.
