Abstract:
This image processing device includes: a storage unit which stores a three-dimensional blood vessel model that indicates a distribution state of the blood vessels in a prescribed organ; a blood vessel tomographic image generation unit which generates a plurality of blood vessel tomographic images that indicate the distribution state of the blood vessels included on any plane in a three-dimensional space in which the three-dimensional blood vessel model is constructed; an image input unit to which an image obtained by imaging a subject is input, when light, which can reach a deep part of a bio-tissue of a prescribed organ, is irradiated at the subject; an image collation unit which performs a process for specifying a blood vessel tomographic image, a matching degree of which is high with respect to the image input to the image input unit; and a navigation image generation unit which generates a navigation image for indicating, in the three-dimensional space, the correspondence between the three-dimensional blood vessel model and the position of an endoscope that can observe blood vessels included in the blood vessel tomographic image specified by the image collation unit.
