Abstract:
This image processing device comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires a plurality of sets of image information, the captured areas of which partially overlap, the sets of information being captured by a plurality of capture units; a first setting unit which sets, according to predetermined values, a first correction value which corrects the brightness of a first area of interest contained in a first overlapping region in which a first captured area, which is one of a pair of separate captured areas on either side of a vehicle, and the adjoining second captured area, overlap, and a second correction value which corrects the brightness of a second area of interest contained in a second overlapping region in which the first captured area and the adjoining third captured area overlap; and a second setting unit which uses the first correction value and the second correction value to set an individual correction value which corrects the brightness for the area between the first area of interest and the second area of interest in the first captured area.
