Abstract:
An imaging unit (1) outputs image data. An image processing unit (3) forms, by an electronic circuit, a plurality of recognition algorithms that are suitable for image-recognizing a prescribed recognition object included in the image data. A fault diagnosis unit (12a) diagnoses that the image processing unit is faulty when a recognition result for a case in which test image data (16) including a feature pattern that the recognition object has is given to the image processing unit and expected value data (17) that is a recognition result for a case in which the test image data is given to the recognition algorithms are different.
