Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are an image processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring an image to be processed and an image processing model comprising a plurality of processing units; inputting the image to be processed into the image processing model, and by means of the plurality of processing units, sequentially processing the image to be processed to obtain feature parameters output by each processing unit, wherein during processing by means of the (m+1)th processing unit, the feature parameters output by the mth processing unit are processed by means of the (m+1)th processing unit to obtain the feature parameters output by the (m+1)th processing unit, and the number of the feature parameters output by the (m+1)th processing unit is greater than the number of the feature parameters output by the mth processing unit; and on the basis of the feature parameters output by the last processing unit, generating a target image having a higher resolution than the image to be processed. The technical solution of the embodiments of the present application can improve the accuracy of image super-resolution construction.
