Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a step for specifying a subject area including an object corresponding to a spheroid, from a captured raw image of the spheroid (step S103); a step for detecting a circular area having the maximum degree of separation within the subject area, using a circular degree-of-separation filter operation (step S105); and a step for outputting a value proportional to the degree of separation of the circular area calculated using the circular degree-of-separation filter operation, the value being outputted as an index value indicating the roundness of the spheroid specified by the circular area (step S106).
