Abstract:
An image processing method according to the present invention comprises: a step for partitioning a picture of an image into a plurality of coding units, which is a base unit on which an inter prediction or an intra prediction is performed; and a step for selectively configuring a prediction mode list for deriving, from an intra prediction direction of a surrounding block adjacent to a block to be decoded, a prediction direction of the block to be decoded, for an intra-predicted unit from among the coding units partitioned, wherein the step for partitioning a picture of an image into a plurality of coding units comprises a step for partitioning the picture or the coding units partitioned into a binary tree structure.
