Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing method comprising the steps of: dividing a picture of an image into multiple coding units, each of which is a basic unit for performing inter-prediction or intra-prediction; and selectively configuring, for an intra-predicted unit among the divided coding units, a prediction mode list for deriving the prediction direction of a block to be decoded, from the intra-prediction directions of neighboring blocks adjacent to the block to be decoded, wherein the step of dividing the picture of the image into the multiple coding units comprises dividing the picture or the divided coding units in a binary tree structure.
