Abstract:
Provided are an image processing method, image processing device, and imaging device that are able to reduce processing time in a relatively small-scale circuit, and correctly recognize a subject without reducing the frame rate of output images in the processing of a video. The present invention has: a distortion correction processing unit that converts coordinates in a world coordinate system of each pixel of a virtual projected plane set by a setting unit to a camera coordinate system using distortion factors read from memory, and on the basis of the converted coordinates in the camera coordinate system and a plurality of pixel data of an imaging element, calculates image data at the virtual projected plane; and an image output unit that outputs the calculated image data as a video. The distortion factors include at least a first distortion factor calculated on the basis of the physical characteristics of the lens of an optical system and a second distortion factor that does not perform correction of distortion. Writing of the generated distortion factors to memory is performed in a V-blanking period on the basis of a vertical synchronization signal.
