Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is an image processing method for a display device. The image processing method for the display device comprises: setting one pixel among a plurality of pixels which are arranged in an array in an image to be processed as a pixel to be processed, and setting all of the pixels except for the pixel to be processed which are in an N-line M-row pixel array which has the pixel to be processed as the center as reference pixels; obtaining a highest brightness value and a lowest brightness value among the pixel to be processed and the reference pixels by means of acquiring the brightness of the pixel to be processed and the brightness of the reference pixels; calculating a brightness relation value between the pixel to be processed and the reference pixels according to a preset brightness relation value calculating formula; and adjusting the brightness of the pixel to be processed to the highest brightness value when the brightness relation value between the pixel to be processed and the reference pixels is greater than a preset reference value, otherwise adjusting the brightness of the pixel to be processed to the lowest brightness value. By means of the described method, the contour of an image may be effectively reinforced so that the image is clearer, thereby improving display quality of the image.
