Abstract:

An image processing method and an electronic device using the image processing method. The image processing method comprises: encoding image data to be displayed by means of an encoding unit (103), so as to generate the encoded image data; sending the encoded image data to a display assembly (300) by means of an interface component (200); and decoding the encoded image data by means of a decoding unit (301) in the display assembly (300), to generate the image data to be displayed for the display executed by the display assembly (300). The image processing method can reduce the data transmission volume.
